Running Accomplishments:

I have always loved running, but started running marathons in 2008, I havent had any training(at that distance) and have struggled to get a good time.  I also have been running with some slower groups, which doesnt help.  my fastest marathon is 4:36, I know its not impressive, but I am commited to 3:10 this year.  I CAN DO IT!!!

Short-Term Running Goals:

I aim to be in the best shape of my life, physically and emotionaly.  I want to compete more, 5K, 10K, half and full marathons.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I really want to keep my self in shape and exercised, maintain a good cardio work out.

my first time running on the DC bike path.  I went with Paul and loved it, he stayed with me thru 4 then I had to take a bathroom break in the wild so he kept on.  I finished home and felt good, it was hot and muggy but went an hour earlier today than yesterday and it made a difference not having the sun on me the whole time.  still around a 8:30 pace.  I know Clyde says dont worry about pace right now, but how do you not.  I will track it and try not to worry, we will see.

Yeah you can track it but just don't stress about hitting a pace. In a week or so I'll have you do specific workouts where you'll have to run "tempo" pace. Then you can worry on that run. Also we need to start getting you a steady diet of long runs in once a week. What is the longest run you've done in the last 2 months? As soon as possible I'd like to see ya hitting between a 15-20 mile solo run once a week (every week).

Mileage and long runs pay the bills on race day!
